Is this like an escape room?
It's even more! It's an open-exploration, interactive, puzzle-filled adventure! (Think more like a board game brought to life!) And if you enjoy the challenge and puzzles of escape rooms, we think you'll LOVE SideQuests! But no one in your party will be locked in any space during any Quest, plus the adventures aren't confined to just one room! And that's a big part of the fun!
Do I need to bring anything?
Just a positive attitude and an adventurous spirit! (A little competitive nature doesn't hurt either!) Please feel free to bring a water bottle, but no food or drinks are otherwise allowed on premise. 5-hr games will have an intermediary span for a snack or meal; more information provided on this at booking. Oh, and if you're a returning player, don't forget your SideQuest Renown card!
What should I wear?
Wear clothes you're comfortable moving around in! While adventures are not physically demanding, exploration is a big part of our Quests!
I'm not able to run around; how active are the Quests?
While all of our Quests are designed to be highly engaging, none of our adventures require running or any intense physical activity. The mental pace is energetic and fast, but the physical pace is normal speed for accessibility and safety. There are some steps and stairs, so please let us know if anyone in your party needs special accommodations and we will incorporate those into your Quest experience!
Is there an age limit?
SideQuests are adventures designed for quick thinkers age 13+ though minors must be accompanied by an adult (who is not required to participate). For younger Questers ,stay tuned for our upcoming KidsQuest this summer! Contact us for more info or to reserve a spot for your little adventurers!
